This was a one-manual, mechanical-action organ built in 1925 with a name that read “Lincoln, England”. It was formerly housed in the Freemason Lodge, and was moved to the Orchard Road Presbyterian Church sometime in 1970 when the Lodge acquired its current two-manual J.W. Walker organ. It was about 1976 that the Lodge’s organ was set up in the church’s sanctuary, next to the main organ.

The organ was subsequently moved to the chapel in 1986. By 1991, it was converted to electric action, with original manual (that was attached to the casework) removed in the process. A new two-manual free-standing console was built by Robert Navaratnam. The organist would sit on the console facing the pipework. A new swell division (unenclosed) was added along with a new wind chest and five ranks of pipes.

In 2015, another wind chest of four ranks of pipes were transferred from the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd to the chapel organ. The bass flute for the pedal is still vacant at the current time of writing.

The use of multiple wind chests also helped minimise wind pressure fluctuations, by isolating the pipes of each division. Thus the large consumption of wind by the larger pipes, which may cause wind pressure sags and pitch drops, will be contained within the division.
