Who is Dieterich Buxtehude, and why are musicians all over the world celebrating Buxtehude Year 2007? If you are curious to find out, this is a rare opportunity not to be missed! Eminent Danish organist Flemming Dreisig presents a very special night of Buxtehude organ works, and shows why the music of this Danish composer is truly magical. Dreisig has performed extensively in Scandinavia, Europe, as well as the United States and Canada. He currently holds the prestigious title of Organist to the Cathedral of Copenhagen, and is a professor at the Royal Danish Conservatory, where he has taught for the past decade. Come discover Buxtehude in a night that promises to be enchanting!
